Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve Net Speed Cloud. This includes:

Account Information

Email address, display name, and hashed password created during registration.

Device Data

Device name, app version, connection status, and last-seen timestamp from your Windows PC agent.

Network Metrics

Upload/download speeds (Mbps), data usage (bytes), ping, and outage events synced by the desktop agent.

Timezone & Local Time

Your system timezone ID is sent with each sync to ensure accurate local-day reporting. No GPS or location data is collected.

Billing Information

Subscription status and renewal dates. Payment details are handled exclusively by Stripe — we never store card numbers.

Usage & Log Data

IP address and request metadata for security, abuse prevention, and service diagnostics.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to operate and improve Net Speed Cloud:

Provide real-time and historical network monitoring dashboards
Authenticate your account and secure API access
Process subscription payments via Stripe
Send transactional emails (password reset, billing receipts)
Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity
Improve application performance and fix bugs

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third-party marketers.

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secured servers with industry-standard protections in place:

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS
Passwords are stored as salted hashes using ASP.NET Core Identity — never in plain text
Device tokens are stored as SHA-256 hashes
Database access is restricted to application-level authenticated connections only

While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% immune. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.

Third-Party Services

We use a minimal set of trusted third-party services to operate Net Speed Cloud:

Stripe

Payment processing. Stripe handles all card data under their own PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Stripe Privacy Policy

Resend

Transactional email delivery (password resets, receipts). Only your email address is shared for delivery purposes. Resend Privacy Policy

Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
Network sync logs and outage events are retained per your plan (Free: 7 days visible; Pro: up to 365 days)
Upon account deletion, all personal data, devices, sync history, and outage logs are permanently removed within 30 days
Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Request a copy of the data we hold about you

Correction

Update your display name or contact details at any time

Deletion

Delete your account and all associated data from your Profile page

Portability

Export your speed data as CSV (Pro feature)

Cookies

Net Speed Cloud uses only essential cookies required for the application to function:

Authentication cookie — keeps you signed in during your session
Anti-forgery token — protects forms against CSRF attacks
TempData cookie — carries one-time flash notifications between page loads

We use no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies of any kind.

Children's Privacy

Net Speed Cloud is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at shahedbddev@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of Net Speed Cloud after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
