Account

Registration, login, email, and profile settings

Click Get Started Free on the homepage or go directly to the registration page . Enter your email address and a password. You will receive a confirmation email — click the link inside to activate your account.

No credit card is required for the Free plan.

First, check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from shahedbddev@gmail.com. If it's not there, you can request a new confirmation email from the login page by clicking "Resend confirmation email".

If you still don't receive it after a few minutes, contact us and we'll activate your account manually.

Go to the Forgot Password page and enter your registered email address. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes. The link expires after 24 hours.

Yes. Go to your Profile Settings and update your email address. A confirmation email will be sent to the new address before the change takes effect.

You can delete your account from Profile Settings Delete Account. All your data — speed history, usage logs, and device tokens — will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

This action is irreversible. Export your data via CSV before deleting if you need it.

Your Device Token is shown on your Dashboard under the Connect Device section. Copy it and paste it into the desktop agent on first launch. Keep it private — it authenticates your device to your account.

You can regenerate your token from the dashboard if you believe it has been compromised.

Desktop Agent

Installation, setup, and agent behaviour

The agent is available on the Microsoft Store. Search for "Net Monitor" in the Store app, or use the direct link:

Open in Microsoft Store

After installing, open the app and enter your Device Token from your dashboard to connect it to your account.

The agent supports Windows 10 (64-bit) and Windows 11. 32-bit Windows is not supported. Mac and Linux versions are planned — see the Changelog for updates.

The agent measures and syncs your speed data every 5 minutes. Outage detection runs every 60 seconds. You can also trigger a manual sync by right-clicking the system tray icon and selecting "Sync Now".

By default, the agent does not start automatically. To enable startup with Windows, right-click the system tray icon → Settings → enable "Start with Windows".

The agent is designed to be extremely lightweight. When idle between syncs, it uses < 1% CPU and approximately 30–50 MB RAM. During a sync, CPU usage briefly spikes for 1–2 seconds then returns to idle.

Updates are delivered automatically through the Microsoft Store. Ensure automatic updates are enabled in Store settings. You can also manually check for updates by opening the Store → Library → Get updates.

Uninstall like any other Windows app: SettingsApps → search for "Net Monitor"Uninstall. Your cloud data is not deleted when you uninstall the agent.

Troubleshooting

Fixing common issues with the agent and dashboard

Try the following steps in order:

  1. Check that the agent is running (look for the tray icon)
  2. Right-click the tray icon and click "Sync Now"
  3. Verify your Device Token is correct by comparing it to the one on your dashboard
  4. Check your internet connection
  5. Restart the agent application
  6. If the issue persists, reinstall from the Microsoft Store

Speed measurements are taken in the background while your PC is in normal use. If other applications are using bandwidth during a sync, the reading will reflect available — not maximum — speed.

For the most accurate readings, compare the average over several syncs rather than a single measurement. Net Speed Cloud is designed for trend monitoring, not one-off speed tests.

Try these steps:

  1. Hard-refresh the page: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Check our Status page for any ongoing incidents

If the issue persists, contact support with a screenshot.

Make sure you copied the token exactly — no extra spaces at the start or end. Tokens are case-sensitive.

If you recently regenerated your token, the old one is no longer valid. Get the latest token from your dashboard and re-enter it in the agent settings.

Outage detection requires the agent to be running during the outage. If your PC was asleep, off, or the agent was closed, outages during that period will not be logged.

The agent checks connectivity every 60 seconds, so very brief outages (under 1 minute) may not be captured.

The agent is distributed exclusively through the Microsoft Store and is code-signed by Microsoft. It should not trigger antivirus warnings.

If your antivirus flags it, please add an exception for Net Monitor or contact us and we'll help investigate.

The chart will be empty until the agent has synced at least one data point. After installing and connecting the agent, wait up to 5 minutes for the first sync to appear.

If you are on the Free plan, the chart only shows today's data. Upgrade to Pro to see historical data.
